To achieve a consistent Top-20 South African Rugby school status and enhance our position as the leading co-educational Rugby school of
the Eastern Cape, through the systematic development of 4 strategic pathways which aim to create, underpin, measure, and sustain an optimal
playing and coaching environment for all the stakeholders of Hudson Park Rugby.
To develop a panel of players, every year, who are core-skill proficient and
capable of recognising, selecting, and executing the appropriate skill set for any given playing environment.
To identify, recruit and develop a panel of coaches who are willing to become champions of a learning culture, and who are also motivated to create the learning opportunities that are needed for enhanced player decision making.
To develop a facility that will enable a conditioning program, and ultimately a conditioning culture, to develop.
An environment that rewards effort and commitment towards a balanced and informed approach
to conditioning for Rugby.
To facilitate the development of a whole-school Rugby syllabus which defines the schools’
playing philosophy, technical
and tactical skill sets, and a common language, so as to achieve collective alignment.
