Geography is the study of our planet and its people. It is a multi-facetted discipline that reaches into most areas of life, and studying Geography develops an understanding of the issues which impact our planet, such as climate change, global warming, desertification, and water supply.
Physical Geography is the study of Earth's seasons, climate, atmosphere, soil, streams, landforms, and oceans, while Human Geography is the study of the distribution of people and cultures. The impact of natural environment on humanity, and vice versa, is an important focus.
Learners may choose either isiXhosa or Afrikaans as their First Additional Language.
We offer tuition in 3 Arts, and learners choose 2 of these upon which to focus.

Learners acquire and use a multitude of skills. Some of these are subject-specific, while others are critical thinking skills such as knowing, inferring, analyzing, judging, hypothesizing, generalizing, predicting, problem solving, and decision making.
