Design
Design is a key element, as any product which is to be manufactured must first be designed. We teach a systematic design process that combines investigation, designing, production, evaluation, and communication.
We also encourage learners to acquire proficiency in the use of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, and anyone who is interested in taking EGD (Engineering Graphics and Design) in the FET Phase is advised to devote special care to this. Acceptance to EGD will be based on the results of testing done to determine aptitude for the subject.
