It is no exaggeration to say that our world's future is in the hands of scientists. Science is everywhere. Scientific data and processes tell us the state of our planet, predict outcomes, and offer solutions to the problems of our age.
The World Needs Scientists
There is no better place to begin to 'make the world a better place' than by studying Science. It opens doors to a host of different careers and - largely on account of the wide range of skills attached to scientific method - is a truly excellent preparation for further training in any field of study.
Learners who do well in Science at school can find that they have an advantage when applying for admission to academic courses in higher education.

We offer tuition in 3 Arts, and learners choose 2 of these upon which to focus.

A Foundation
Natural Sciences may be considered as an introduction to Science in general, and it is a good choice for any learner who is interested in this field.
Mathematical skills which are acquired, and theoretical work - such as that involving the Periodic Table - serve to lay a solid foundation for what is done in the higher grades.

In cases where learners need assistance, extra lessons are provided by our teachers and peer-group tutors. Plenty of supplementary worksheets and past examination papers are also available.e.
Facilities
Learners love using scientific equipment and developing models, and we provide plenty of opportunity for this kind of practical work.
Our 4 laboratories have running water and flat work surfaces. Movable scientific equipment is held in dedicated store rooms and brought out as required. A laboratory technician assists in preparing our venues for lessons.
